class 2/16 make vines, leaves and Aster

We rolled the clay between the batons to get the correct thickness, 

then we pressed a leaf into the clay,

then cut out the shape we wanted.

We made Asters from the old House Names.

Early in Mont Albert's history the house names were derived form the letters in ALBERT

A was Aster

L was Lilac

B was Boronia

E was Erica

R was Rose

T was Tecoma

We placed it onto one of the petal templates 

so we understood how it would look on the final sculpture!

I think it looks pretty good!
