Classes 1/3 and 1/2 make small coloured tiles for the front petals of our Centenary Sculpture.
The clay was rolled out between two batons to the correct thickness and then cut into an interesting shape with a skewer.
Then our special tiles were painted with liquid underglazes.
These colours will be brighter after the clay is fired and glazed.
Some very interesting shapes were devised and then painted very carefully
